While some people live for work, the vast majority see it as a means to an end. Work can be enjoyable, but it can also be mundane day after day. When you get into a rut at work, it can be really difficult to stay focused and on task. Set a Timer

Try breaking your workday into manageable time frames. Tell yourself that you can get through the next hour without stopping or getting distracted. Now this may sound like I am contradicting the advice just before this. But sitting for long periods of time without moving around can make you sluggish and tired. Stand up, walk around, do some easy stretches, breathe deeply. Get that oxygen moving around your body and to your brain.

Take Breaks

Breaks are essential to maintain productivity. You may need to get up from your desk and do some stretches for five minutes.
